Splitboard Chablais 3 Day Session

Running most weeks 695€ per person

A 3 day splitboard session exploring the Chablais area.

A Splitboard Chablais session takes you on a splitboarding adventure over three full days to find the very best conditions in the lesser known zones of the Chablais Alps. An off the radar backcountry experience designed to be both exhilarating & physically comfortable at the same time.

Client feedback has enabled us to create the best formulae & shape a trip for those who are either developing their backcountry touring craft or coming to try splitboarding for the first time. We know that a three day session is the optimum length of time for most people at this point. It will leave you on a high and wanting more – not physically and mentally exhausted.

This isn’t just splitboard guiding either. Our mission is to make you a better splitboarder who is ready to take on bigger and longer tours in the future. For example; by teaching you how to be more energy efficient in the skin track & how to transition your equipment quickly to the little things such as properly packing your bag again afterwards. You’ll feel less tired at the top for it and this in turn lends to a feeling of being both mentally and physically better prepared for the ride down.

Splitboard Chablais is aimed at intermediate level riders with previous off-piste experience who are comfortable riding on steeper terrain and able to deal with variable snow conditions – from deep powder to ice patches, bumpy run outs and trees.

Splitboard Chablais 3 day sessions run Sunday to Tuesday. splitboarding. On the Sunday we will stay close to the resort for the day to help you get used to the equipment and warm up. This may require the purchase of a day pass for the local area. On the Monday and Tuesday we travel to a local zone where the conditions will be best and return to Chatel each day on the late afternoon. There is also an option to spend a night in a local hut if conditions allow. The trip ends on the Tuesday evening.

This is for any snowboarder confident on all level of piste runs who have a little powder experience but would like some more.

Your fitness level means that you are good to hike slowly for up to 3 hours a day on the splitboards with enough energy left to safely manage a descent of 1000m . Previous splitboard experience is not necessary.
