Trip & Split 2195€
2021 Dates TBC
This is the perfect road trip for experienced splitboarders looking to chase the best conditions.
It could be you ride a giant untracked couloir somewhere in Valais, Switzerland on the Monday, and stay for the night at a Swiss mountain refuge before heading into Italy early the next morning as the sun has come out and they received a half metre of fresh snow overnight Who knows where we’ll end up! Spectacular terrain and riding big lines that you’ll always remember are what’s guaranteed though.
This is high mountain (UIAGM) guiding at its best and the possibilities are endless. It’s also one of our most popular trips.
You’ll arrive on the Saturday in Chatel and start the Sunday with a big warm up day somewhere in the Chablais Alps. On the Monday morning we’ll jump into the T5 Multivan and head to wherever has the best weather and snow for a big mountain adventure. You will be led by a Rider Social High Mountain guide (UIAGM) over 5 days in potentially multiple different destinations. We will usually spend 3 nights at altitude in mountain hut’s looking for the next big turns on day by day basis.
Maximum Group Size: 4
Ability – you can ride most lines (up to 45 degrees) in variable conditions & previous splitboard experience is absolutely essential, some mountaineering experience desirable but not obligatory. Please get in touch if you’d like further clarification on this. To fully enjoy a Trip and Split you must have a good level of fitness. Expect to climb 1200m+ of vertical every day of the trip – running a quick half marathon each day wouldn’t be a problem for you.
This is a must for serious storm chasers.
Staying flexible on a snow chasing, splitboard adventure road trip means we will find you the absolutely best conditions The mountains are living and breathing behemoths and don’t give a rats ass about your week away.
The Rider Social does though and that in essence is why we differ from most other providers.

Amazing week! Thanks everyone for making it another very cool trip. The Rider Social rocks!
That was an awesome trip! Definitely added a few permanent clips to the memory bank. Untracked powder lines and steep couloirs. A couple of decent skin tracks back up too!
