Fly into Sibiu where we will spend the night before the transfer up the world famous Transfagarasan highway on the following morning. It is a 90 minute drive to reach Balea Cascade where we’ll take the single cable car up to the lake at 2054m. This is where our accommodation for the week is based.

We will be touring in remote terrain and will split around 1000m of vert per day. This freeride paradise offers countless line options. A short 300m vertical ascent from the refuge opens many different routes with a total off piste descent to the bottom of the cable car of 1400m.
To join this session you should have at least 10 weeks of riding experience and be competent snowboarder in all conditions. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.
